I've long had relationships with innovative camera companies. I featured early consumer digital cameras with the "Clarity" system from Sound Vision, the Argus 3D film camera and more.
About ten years ago I covered a product from Taiwan, the "PaperShoot" camera. It is a very simple camera that frees you to create and enjoy photography in a refreshing way. Or, perhaps, an old way - but not with film.
It is truly distraction-free: No fiddling with settings, just look, aim and shoot.
Some of most enjoyable photos I shot were the result of putting aside the "big" camera and stepping out with a Papershoot and simply looking around at the world.
It is in many online stores, and a model with a higher resolution than the "classic" 5 MP model is available.
