Not long after the photo was taken of that guy with the funny-looking laptop, he left a successful career in daily radio broadcasting to become "a professional explainer."

Working with his wife, he explained computer basics via audiobooks. Later ones for new digital cameras owners and even eBay selling!

Several of his "how-to" books were based on popular non-credit classes he taught at a local college.

Still loving radio, he also hosted a syndicated computer talk show and created a website to market his products called ACPRESS (for audio computer press.)

Today, selling books and tapes is replaced with digital delivery. The ACPRESS name no longer "fits" what we produce. It was time for a change. We offer podcasts, voice work services and our own audiobooks.

"The Jack Socha Podcast" is new, as is an audiobook on the basics of podcasting. A quick search will uncover sources for both.
